First introduced to the UK in the 17th century, goji berries are one of the most popular super fruits. The orange-red berries can be eaten fresh or dried and added to breakfast cereals for a healthy start to the day. They are ready to pick when they turn a vibrant red colour and become slightly soft to the touch.

Goji berry bushes are suitable for health-conscious gardeners and those seeking to add an exotic touch to their fruit gardens. The bushes are extremely hardy and tolerant to drought and salt winds. A mature plant will produce up to 1kg (2lbs) of fruit and ideally should be allowed to grow to a minimum height of 3-4ft and maximum height of 8-10ft. Goji berry bushes will grow in most well drained soils and prefer a sunny position.

Are you intrigued by goji berries but unsure about growing them in the UK climate? Goji berry bushes are very adaptable to British weather conditions, making them a viable and exciting option for gardeners across the country.

Goji berry bushes are drought-tolerant, adaptable to various soil types and relatively pest-resistant, making them a good choice for both novice and experienced gardeners. These versatile plants can be trained as shrubs or against walls and fences, allowing you to maximise your growing space while adding an attractive and productive element to your garden.

We’re passionate about helping you succeed in your fruit-growing endeavours. That’s why our goji berry bushes come with comprehensive care instructions.

Embrace the opportunity to grow these nutritious berries and enjoy their numerous health benefits straight from your garden. With Pomona Fruits, you’re not just purchasing a plant; you’re investing in your well-being, expanding your culinary horizons and adding a truly beneficial bush to your garden’s ecosystem.
