Walnut Trees

If you are fortunate enough to have a fairly large garden and you want to plant a beautiful majestic tree, then a walnut or sweet chestnut tree is definitely worth considering. Walnuts and sweet chestnuts require space and ultimately make large trees. Where space is limited they can be repeatedly ‘tipped’ or alternatively grown in a Root Control Bag to restrict their size.

For better establishment we strongly advise using Rootgrow when planting (as recommended in RHS planting guidelines).
