Quince Trees

Quince produce large, showy soft-pink flowers and beautiful perfumed golden fruits. They are often used in Middle-Eastern dishes as well as being delicious added to fruit pies and crumbles. The fruit is also used to make jelly but our favourite is home-made quince vodka! Quince are usually grown as free-standing 'bush' trees. Choose a sunny, sheltered location. Unless otherwise stated, quince are supplied as two year old trees and will be 1.2-1.5m (4-5ft) high on despatch (including the roots). Trees are available from late November to late April.

Don't forget to include tree stakes and ties on your order. All young fruit trees require staking and for better establishment we strongly advise using Rootgrow when planting (as recommended in RHS planting guidelines).

The tree is taller and more vigorous than other cultivated varieties, but is less hardy and therefore more suited to warmer areas.
