Envirotect (2m x 5m)

Envirotect (2m x 5m) Code: XAG020

£20.95 inc. p&p 20.9500 In Stock New

Envirotect is the ultimate in crop protection and the robust alternative to non-woven fleece. The unique woven and knotted design creates an extremely strong cover that can be re-used many times over, saving on the annual purchase costs of traditional 17g fleece. Envirotect allows high light transmission (86% when new) and for air and water to permeate through, creating an ideal micro-climate for crop development. The retention of radiant heat gives higher day and night-time temperatures, enhancing crop growth and an element of frost protection. Envirotect can be used to cover frost sensitive plants and will advance growth and cropping of early planted crops such as salads, potatoes and brassicas. It will also protect crops from heavy rain, hail, wind, soil splash, birds, rabbits and many insects.  Soft and gentle on the crop, Envirotect is made from UV stabilized polyethylene and will not degrade in sunlight. It is extremely strong and will not tear, having a 5-6 year life expectancy with repeated use.
