£21.95 21.9500 In Stock New

Rheum hybridum 'Fulton's Strawberry Surprise'

This outstanding new variety was voted the ‘best flavoured rhubarb’ in RHS Wisley Trials. The plants are strong growing, producing eye-catching vivid red stems.

Bred in the U.K.  RHS Award of Garden Merit

Available for delivery: late November/December - early May.

Rhubarb is delicious in desserts and as it is so easy to grow and takes up very little room it deserves a place in every garden. The plants will tolerate full sun or partial shade, but it is important to make sure they are planted in a well-drained soil. It is equally suited to container growing. Our rhubarb crowns are supplied as large hand selected crowns and are available from late November to mid April. Livingstone is supplied in 9cm pots and is available all year.

For better establishment we strongly advise using Rootgrow when planting (as recommended in RHS planting guidelines).
